1/2 cup brown sugar
1 cup ketchup
1/3 cup balsamic vinegar
1/4 cup low-sodium tamari
1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce

1 tsp liquid smoke
In a medium sauté pan, sauté onions and garlic until translucent. Add remaining ingredients and simmer for 10 minutes. Cool and store in refrigerator.
